“Following my diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease, my neurologist suggested I may benefit from a course of Lee Silverman voice therapy to improve the volume of my voice. Finding a therapist in the Surrey area was not an easy task but with some assistance from the area speech clinic I was able to make contact with Carla Bryson. From our first meeting Carla made me feel very comfortable with the therapy. The Parkinson’s diagnosis is not an easy one to accept initially and I was wanting to try anything which could possibly improve the condition. The therapy is very intensive and very tiring but Carla made the entire experience enjoyable and very positive and I gained a great deal from the course. I have continued the practical techniques that she taught me and I will have top up sessions periodically. I would recommend Carla to anyone requiring voice therapy.” Gentleman with Parkinson’s
